My name is Liam Conboy. Less than 3 years ago, I was battling leukemia while in high school. During that journey, I was very fortunate to receive amazing care and support from wonderful doctors, nurses, and child-life volunteers. Their efforts made the difference and made it clear to me how important they were in not only saving my life, but in making me realize that I wanted to give back and support other kids facing similar medical challenges.
After starting my freshman year at Boston College, I learned of the opportunity to run the Boston Marathon as part of the Miles for Miracles team to raise money for the brave kids at Boston Children’s Hospital. I’m really excited for this new challenge, and hope to exceed my fundraising goal for such a great cause. Every dollar I raise funds the very best medical care, breakthrough research, and vital support services for sick kids and their families. Thanks in advance for any support you’re able to provide.
