Charitable Gift Annuities

A charitable gift annuity provides fixed, guaranteed payments for life for yourself and/or a loved one. It also helps patients, like Brigid, at Boston Children's Hospital.

Brigid was born premature, deaf in one ear, and with a virus that had completely damaged her liver. Boston Children’s Hospital put her on the transplant list, and within days she had a match for a liver transplant. Thanks to the support of our generous donors, today Brigid is thriving. She has confronted and overcome every obstacle in her path with determination and resilience. With the help of cochlear implants, she continues to blossom, discovering a love of singing, reading and making her opinions known!

How a charitable gift annuity works:

Payment rate depends on age. If you don’t need income immediately or are under 60, you can schedule payments to begin one year or more after your donation, at a higher payment rate.

Gift annuities can benefit up to two people, making them an ideal way to provide financial security for a spouse or other loved one.

After your lifetime, the balance of your gift will fund Boston Children’s Hospital’s lifesaving work.
