I'm running the 2025 Boston Marathon with the Miles for Miracles team to support Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) and its incredible social work department. As a BCH social worker, I see firsthand how our team—over 300 social workers across the enterprise—provides essential support to patients and families through care coordination, crisis intervention, therapy, and much more. Every dollar raised will go directly to BCH’s social work department, helping us continue this critical work during families’ most challenging times.
This marathon is more than a race for me; it’s a testament to resilience and hope. I’m running in memory of those we’ve lost and for the patients and colleagues who inspire me daily. Each mile is dedicated to the strength they show and the support we strive to provide.
As a proud Mexican-American, I’m grateful for my familia's unwavering belief that hard work and kindness make anything possible. This is my second marathon, and I’m ready to take on this challenge, inspired by BCH’s mission and the lives we touch.
