Hi everyone! My name is Emma Bouley, and I am so excited to join the Miles for Miracles team and run the 129th Boston Marathon. Running the Boston Marathon has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and I can't think of any other charity that I would want to support.
As part of the Miles for Miracles team, I have the honor and privilege of running in memory of my little sister, Maddie, who was a former Boston Children's Hospital patient. This year marks 21 long years without her and I can't think of a better tribute to her than raising funds to help families like mine and finding cures to rare illnesses like hers.
Every dollar I raise funds the very best medical care, breakthrough research and vital support services for sick kids and their families. Your gift will:
- help children from your town and across the world get a second chance at life.
- give kids battling the most complex diseases care they can't find anywhere else;
- fuel 3,000+ researchers working to develop new treatments and cures.
- support patient programs, like music and art therapy, to let kids be kids, even during long hospital stays;
