I've joined the Miles for Miracles team because I want to help other kids. Yes, I know I might have epilepsy and a blood disorder but I know that there are some kids that have it way worse than me. They dont even get to live a normal life. Even though i dont always get to be like a normal kid my age, I will always know there is another kid out there fighting a disease worse than mine, and for them I will continue to stay strong no matter what. I know some kids dont even get to live there lives outside of a hospital because they need to be attached to a machine to live and I want to give these kids another chance at life to see the world outside of the enclosed hospital. Boston Children's works miracles, thanks to them I'M 2 YEARS SEIZURE FREE THIS NOVEMBER 2018. So please help me give these kids a second chance at life-Drystan
My partner Dan is so nice and we have become good friends since I met him a few months ago. We text during the week to keep in contact and to motivate eachother. I'm not his only partner he has a nephew who is also a patient at Boston Children's Hospital, and he is a huge inspiration to Dan. I'm grateful for Dan taking on this adventure with me. Thank you Dan for running for all the kids.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's really understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
