Due to Covid-19, the town of Falmouth has cancelled all public events, including the Falmouth Road Race. The run, though, will proceed virtually. What that means is I will run the whole 7 miles in my own neighborhood. I am committed to run and fundraise for this cause that is near and dear to my heart!
I am returning to the Miles for Miracles team for the Falmouth Road Race in honor of my daughter Gwen's ELEVEN year heart-versary! She was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries and had life-saving open-heart surgery at BCH when she was 6 days old. Boston Children's Hopsital is amazing for patients and their families, which is why I am joining their team again. Below are some of the amazing things about BCH:
- The hospital's patient care programs are unusually sensitive to what sick and injured children and their families really need.
- Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children's lives.
- Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care--more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's really understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
Support me, my Gwen, and support the hospital! Please make a gift today.
Thank you for the bottom of our hearts,
Jenny and Gwen Winter
