Two years ago I completed a 140.6mile Ironman in PCB, Florida -- and through this event I raised nearly $15,000 for RallyCap Sports, an NJ-based nonprofit that provides children of special needs the opportunity to play sports and be on a team. This experience triggered a passion within me to combine my love of endurance races with my eagerness to assist organizations making a meaningful difference in the world.
This October my girlfriend Kelsey and I are running in the 125th Annual Boston Marathon, with a goal to raise as much money as possible for Boston Children's Hospital.
I've joined the Miles for Miracles team because I strongly believe in everything the Hospital does for sick and injured children. The researchers regularly make life-changing discoveries, and it's especially incredible that Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care (more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.)
The hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's really understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
