We have joined Boston Children's Hospital "Miles for Miracles" campaign because we believe so strongly in all the great things the hospital does for kids. Last November, our grandson/nephew, Connor Keefe, age 2 1/2, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Connor, along with his parents Nicholas and Claire, spent a month in the hospital with Connor receiving intensive treatments. They were finally able to come home just before Christmas. While he is not out of the woods - he has at least another year of chemo and other treatments - his prognosis is very good. The care and love Connor and his parents received while in the hospital at Children's, especially with Covid restrictions, was truly amazing. He continues to make monthly visits where he is greeted warmly and lovingly. Children's Hospital is going to save his life. What more can we say.
We are eager to try to give something back so we are running in the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Boston Children's Hospital. These funds will be used to support the critically important work it does for children and families throughout the world. We were blessed to have Children's there when we needed it and we want to make sure it is able to continue this important, life-saving work, for many years to come. Please give generously.
