My daughter, Holly, was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis (JIA) as a toddler, and she receives ongoing care at Boston Children's Hospital. JIA is a chronic condition with no cure, so her treatment aims to alleviate her symptoms of joint inflammation, swelling, pain and tenderness.  Thanks to the exceptional care and therapy she's received, Holly has transformed into a happy and confident teen. 

I am participating in the 2024 NYC Marathon as a member of the Miles for Miracles team because I am deeply committed to aiding children like Holly in finding life-changing care at Boston Children's Hospital and providing hope to their families.
