Boston Children's Hospital has impacted me, personally and professionally. I joined the Miles for Miracles team because I am passionate about, and believe in, the work being done at Boston Children's Hospital.
In 2003, my cousin was born, and within days, treated for a subdural hematoma in her right occipital lobe. In 2022, her family returned to Boston Children's and she was treated AGAIN, this time for thyroid cancer. Today, she is strong, she is brilliant, she is a fighter.
Since 2013, I have worked with children and families in a few different capacities. Many of these children have received, and continue to receive, care from Boston Children's. Some were referred to me from BCH, some have walked into BCH on their own, and I will never hesitate to make a referral to BCH.
My own children have worked with Boston Children's Department of Opthalmology and Boston Children's Heart Center.
On November 5th, I will run the NYC Marathon with Boston Children's Hospital's team Miles for Miracles. Please consider making a donation to help me meet my fundraising goal.
Every dollar I raise funds breakthrough research, treatments that can't be found elsewhere, patient- family supports, mental health supports, and vital services not covered by insurance through the hospital’s Every Child Fund.
Thank you for taking the time to read; your support, in any capacity, is very much appreciated.
