3rd year, best year! LET'S GO!!!
I am back for my third year with Olgert Prendo, the best running partner anyone could ever ask for!! I can't wait to raise even more money this year for a place that is and always will be near and dear to my heart!
In utero I was diagnosed with a rare condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (C.D.H), a condition where all your organs are pushed up to your chest making it hard to have room to breath and for things to grow. I was born with virtually no left lung and nine percent of a right lung. My parents were told that I had a less than ten percent chance of survival, but thanks to my amazing surgical team at B.C.H, I am a happy and healthy seventh grader at Buckingham Browne and Nichols School!
As I continued to grow, I had fifteen surgeries starting at the age of five days old and many more appointments, but now I am an awesome thirteen year old kid who loves playing goalie in both lacrosse and field hockey and only goes to B.C.H. twice a year.
And lastly I want to say that I would not be able to get through this journey without an amazing support system behind me from my friends and family-especially my mom, who has never given up on me. They have always been there for me every step of the way.
I hope you will consider donating for the amazing kids at B.C.H who need YOUR help for a second chance at life. Thank you!
