Those of you who know me well know that I started running a LOT back in 2020. It started as a way to get out of the house for a bit back when we were all stuck together...I MEAN...back when we all got to spend lots of quality time together. But eventually, it became a way for me to keep healthy (both physically and mentally) while also setting a great example for my kids to keep active and stay in-shape. Thousands of miles later, I decided it was time to do my first non-virtual marathon.
So I’m taking on New York City this November, and I’m hoping to help raise some money for an amazing cause while I’m at it. And of course, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t put a Boston spin on something New York-related.
With that, I come to you asking for your support as I run for Boston Children’s Hospital on November 6 this year. Anything you can spare – even a few dollars – will go a long way toward helping the children and families at Boston Children’s.
Every dollar I raise will help support children and their families, while also helping fund research. Specifically, donations will help:
pay for children’s treatments that aren’t covered by insurance;
fund 3,000+ researchers working to find cures;
provide patient-families with urgent needs, including housing and food.
Go New York? Go Boston? Both!
And ultimately, go Children’s!
