Hi everyone! I am so excited to have joined Miles for Miracles for the TCS New York City Marathon in support of helping kids at Boston Children’s Hospital find lifesaving care.
My enthusiasm to fundraise for children's hospitals started with my sister’s life being saved at my local children's hospital in Connecticut. This led me to become deeply involved in HuskyTHON during my time at UConn, which is a year long fundraiser for Connecticut Children’s. After a record breaking year on the management team, I wasn’t done with my fight towards changing kids’ health and the future.
I have dreamed of running the NYC marathon since I finished my first marathon this past fall, and I knew the Miles for Miracles team was the perfect intersection between two of my biggest passions.
Every dollar I raise funds breakthrough research, family support services, and vital care not covered by insurance through the hospital’s Every Child Fund. Your gift will:
- give children battling the most complex diseases treatments they can’t find anywhere else;
- help children in your town and across the world get a second chance;
- fuel 3,000+ researchers working to find cures;
- help patient-families in crisis with urgent needs, including housing, food and clothing;
