Welcome to my Miles for Miracles // NYC Marathon Fundraising Page!
Partnering with and running in support of the Boston Children's Hospital is something very close to my heart. If you know me, you know that my family means the world to me. Our experience in recent months is what is driving my passion to run and raise money for this important cause.
In 2023, my sister Kelsey and her husband Jesse were beyond excited to learn they were pregnant with their first child (and I was ecstatic to be an uncle). Early this year, they learned that their unborn baby was diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), which was threatening her development. Kelsey spent many days and nights with the extraordinary team at Boston Children's, preparing to give their baby the best fighting chance. Little Zoe was born on Valentines Day this year, but unfortunately her heart wasn't strong enough to survive. She will always be our valentine.
I will be running the NYC Marathon this year in Zoe's name, as well as in support of the incredible folks at Boston Children's Hospital who made my sister feel safe in a difficult time, tried to save my niece, and run one of the best CDH centers in the world.
Every dollar I raise funds breakthrough research, family support services, and vital care not covered by insurance through the hospital’s Every Child Fund. Your gift will:
- Give children battling the most complex diseases treatments they can’t find anywhere else
- Help children across the world get a second chance
- Fuel 3,000+ researchers working to find cures
- Help patient-families in crisis with urgent needs, including housing, food and clothing
- Bring crucial care to families through outpatient psychiatry clinics
- And so much more
Please support my fundraising—and help the children and families like mine at Boston Children’s Hospital.
