I am excited to share that I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon in November 2024 to raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital through Miles for Miracles.
This is a very special organization to me and am thrilled to be able to share a bit about my story. As some of you may know, my brother, Timothy, was born with a severe congenital heart defect over 30 years ago. Thanks to Boston Children’s research and advances and incredible doctors, he survived against all odds, having had 3 open heart surgeries before the age of 2 and is thriving today on ½ a heart!
Timothy and my family and I benefited from the care and services at Boston Children’s and I have the privilege today of raising money to support the children and families from all over the world seeking care at Boston Children's.
My goal is to raise $5,000. Every dollar raised goes straight to the Every Child Fund which funds breakthrough research, family support services, and vital care not covered by insurance. Your gift will:
give children battling the most complex diseases treatments they can’t find anywhere else;
help children in your town and across the world get a second chance;
fuel 3,000+ researchers working to find cures;
help patient-families in crisis with urgent needs, including housing, food and clothing;
bring crucial care to families through outpatient psychiatry clinics;
and so much more
