I am beyond excited (and also terrified) to announce that I will be running the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon with the Miles for Miracles Team for Boston Children’s Hospital.
My Why:
Boston Children's Hospital holds a special place in my heart. During my early years battling KTS; it was a second family that nurtured my spirit as they cared for my body. Their exceptional team not only helped me manage my condition but also filled my days with warmth and support. Even amidst the challenges, there was an undeniable magic in those hallways—a feeling of hope and resilience.
Now, years later, I'm healthy, grateful, and ready to lace up my sneakers to run the NYC Marathon! I'm running for the kids who still roam those hallways (especially Philip Merlotti, my inspiring and resilient Patient Parter), the ones who need a little extra magic in their lives. I'm running for the doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to make every child feel safe, loved, and full of hope.
