Our sweet Joey passed away on 9/7/2015 from a rare disease called FIRES (Febrile Infection Related Epilepsy Syndrome) a rare disease that normal healthy children can get, it affects about 1 in a million. These funds will be used for the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) where Joey was a patient for 2 months until his passing. I am asking funds go directly to those children with FIRES, their family for living expenses while staying at the hospital and secondly to families staying at the hospital while their child is in MSICU, for their living expenses.
