We are raising money on behalf of the Caroline Bass fund, an organization that provides support for thousands of deaf and hard of hearing youth to families that wouldn’t have the means for the unique programs and resources Boston Children’s provides.
Your gift will help continue to:
give children an opportunity to meet other peers like them with hearing loss;
help families have access to loaner hearing aids for their child;
provide families with an opportunity to attend relevant conferences at a reduced fee;
provide families with spare parts for their child's cochlear implant;
help fund the expansion of the outreach program with an additional family outreach specialist position;
provide transition workshops;
provide support and resources for non English-speaking families;
provide sound and visual access in classrooms and training for educational staff;
expand our loaner library with children's books with diverse deaf and hard of hearing characters to encourage identity development and belonging;
support the student leadership camp;
fund family-centered events for families to attend;
and more!
