Team Georgie Second Annual Fundraising Challenge - #10forG
Here we go! Second annual Team Georgie fundraiser aimed at getting you moving/thinking/feeling while we continue to support Boston Children's Hospital. Similar to last year, our focus is on contributing monetarily to the great work of Dr. Goldstein and Robert's Program.
George Phinney, our son, died on December 4th, 2022. George had lived seven amazing years showing us just what hard work and determination look like. George died in his sleep despite being at his healthiest point in life. The work of Dr. Goldstein is aimed at a better understanding of Sudden Unexpected Death in Pediatrics of which George's case falls. More specifically, the money we raised last year went directly to education of medical examiners around the country to take a closer look at unknown causes of death when working with a medically complex patient. We want to help other parents understand just what took their child as we will never get that answer.
Every cent we raise goes directly to the research and education behind SIDS and SUDP. Please join us both in the #10forG challenge as well as our fundraising efforts.
