Geared toward high schools and colleges, this yearlong, student-led fundraiser culminates in a day of dancing. Fundraising helps kids at your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital—Boston Children's (that's us!).
Here I am driving our 1969 MGB "Ramble on Rose" on the 2018 New England British Reliability Run. In 2018 with the help of our generous donors, we raised over $24,000 for Boston Children's Hospital. Sadly, the run was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, but we're up and running again and in 2021 we're hoping to do even better!
So again this year I'll be joining 25 teams participating in the 2021 New England British Reliability Run. We are teamed up to support Boston Children's Hospital because we want to help children get the care they need. To that end we will be driving our classic British sport cars over 500 miles through the mountains of New Hampshire & western Maine in September, challenging these 30, 40, 50 and even 60 year old classics to perform flawlessly as we visit the mountains and sights of the Carrabassett Valley of Maine...just as we are challenging you to donate to this worthy cause. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Extraordinary Needs Fund which helps families defray the high cost of care for their children.
If you wish to make a donation to Team “Ramble on Rose” (that’s me!) just choose the dollar amount on the left side of the page or “other” to customize an amount and then click the blue “give now” button to add your donation of choice. All donations are 100% tax deductable.
Your donation will help Boston Children’s continue this amazing work for kids:
The hospital's patient care programs are remarkably sensitive to what sick and injured children and their families really need. Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children's lives.
Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care—more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
Community programs make a point of reaching out to help low-income and at-risk kids.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's truly understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
