Geared toward high schools and colleges, this yearlong, student-led fundraiser culminates in a day of dancing. Fundraising helps kids at your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital—Boston Children's (that's us!).
This photo is of special people in my life, including myself, who are so grateful for Boston Children's Hospital
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Boston Children's Hospital is unable to accept toy donations for their 400 patients that will be in the hospital this holiday season. They have created a virtual toy drive where, intead of bringing your unwrapped toy to Lamacchia Realty for the drive, you can donate funds online so the hospital can purchase gifts for these children and their families during the holiday season.
Boston Children's Hopsital is near and dear to me for several reasons. First, they provided not only my oldest sister Lisa, but my mom as well, stellar care in 1975 when she was an infant and required many surgeries and medical care. Later on, they took exceptional care of my niece and goddaugther during a week stay at Children's, with several of those days in the ICU. It is a place I never want to see again with some of the illest children. It is truly heartbreaking and I will never forget the faces of the families in the waiting room or my 2 year old niece being hooked up to machines and equipment. Lastly, I have witnessed their ongoing compassion and care during two trips to the ER with my sweet Lucca when we was just a baby. The nurses and doctors at Children's Hospital are truly heros in every sense of the word!
We are so lucky to have Boston Children's in our backyard. They provide such amazing care to children from all around the world and my hope is to raise $1,000 this holiday season to bring some happiness to those children and their families during the holiday season. Please join me and help me with this goal. Every dollar counts!
