Geared toward high schools and colleges, this yearlong, student-led fundraiser culminates in a day of dancing. Fundraising helps kids at your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital—Boston Children's (that's us!).
In 2018 I was diagnosed with severe Tracheomalacia and Bronchomalacia. This meant my airways were collapsing at 100%, making it very difficult to breathe and overcome illinesses. After countless Doctor visits I was told there was no fix for my condition, until I met my amazing Esophageal Atresia Team at BCH. The Esophageal Atresia Team wasted no time in diagnosing and performing surgery. They did a groundbreaking, new procedure called Tracheopexy where they stitched my trachea to my spine. The Tracheopexy surgery was developed by BCH surgeons and BCH is one of the only places its performed in the whole world!
Since this surgery, I have become a new person! I can run and play all day long and it's impossible to hold me down. I credit BCH with helping make me the girl I am today and cannot thank them enough for all they have done. The Esophageal Atresia team has been following me through other various surgeries and continue to provide me with the best care possible. It's a great feeling knowing they are in my corner.
I want to be able to provide opportunities to families who are in situations just like mine.
Please consider donating so we can help those in need!
