Geared toward high schools and colleges, this yearlong, student-led fundraiser culminates in a day of dancing. Fundraising helps kids at your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital—Boston Children's (that's us!).
I’m fundraising to help Boston Children’s continue its amazing work for kids. I have witnessed firsthand the incredible things that they are able to do for patients, thanks to donors like you. My neice, Hannah, is a frequent patient of Boston Children's since she was born in July 2020. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure not only is her health their number one priority, but her happiness as well. It is thanks to donor money that Hannah was given toys and entertainment so she had something to do besides look at a white ceiling. A little baby chair for her to sit in to stretch her legs and allow my sister to rest her arms. A kind employee who sat down with my sister, asked about their family, and then created a story along with a teddy bear, for my other neice Lilah to explain the changes happening to her sister Hannah.
There are so many more seemingly small examples of going above and beyond their jobs for patients and their families.
Sadly, due to the pandemic, no one willl be able to physically donate toys for the Christmas Toy Drive this year. The kindness that Children's demonstrates throughout the year doesn't stop on Christmas morning. Help me ensure that kids who wake up in Children's hospital December 25th, and every other day of the year, have toys and entertainment. Kids and babies like Hannah deserve to still be kids, even when they're patients.
