Geared toward high schools and colleges, this yearlong, student-led fundraiser culminates in a day of dancing. Fundraising helps kids at your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital—Boston Children's (that's us!).
Javier Enrique has beat many odds and has accomplished a great deal in his short little life despite all of the challenges set before him. In only a year, Javier has undergone, ECMO, 3 open heart surgeries, 1 G-Tube surgery, 60+ days in the hospital, and five heart catheterization. But, thanks to medical advances and amazing doctors, he is here, tube-free, healthy and able to celebrate his 1st birthday on March 16, 2021.
In honor of Javier Enrique's first birthday we would love to contribute something to the facility that supports us, holds us up, and will continue to give Javier and thousands of other children the most innovative care available.
Did you know?
- Each year, one in 100 infants is born with a CHD. - Little is known about the cause of the more than 40 types of CHDs and there is no prevention or cure for any of them. - 25% of children with critical CHD will not survive past their first birthday.
I’m fundraising to help Boston Children’s continue its amazing work for kids:
The hospital's patient care programs are remarkably sensitive to what sick and injured children and their families really need.
Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children's lives.
Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care—more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
Community programs make a point of reaching out to help low-income and at-risk kids.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's truly understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
Please support my fundraiser—and Boston Children’s Hospital.
