Geared toward high schools and colleges, this yearlong, student-led fundraiser culminates in a day of dancing. Fundraising helps kids at your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital—Boston Children's (that's us!).
Please join us in raising money to benefit Boston Children's Hospital in memory of Brian Mara.
Throughout his life, Brian struggled with Crohn's Disease. As a child he spent time in Boston Children's Hospital for treatments. The hospital and staff gave so much to him. Sadly, Brian passed away last January at the age of 39. In his memory we're raising money to benefit children who currently rely on Boston Children's Hospital for care.
During his time at Children's Hospital, the highlight of Brian's days were when he'd have a chance to play video games. Back then, a Nintendo cart was wheeled around from room to room. Whenever he'd hear the cart rolling down the hall, he'd jump out of his bed to see if it was meant for him. It always gave him something to look forward to, especially during his most difficult days.
Today, the hospital is partnered with Seacrest Studios for their gaming and entertainment needs. In memory of Brian, his life, and his time at Children's, the money raised will be split, with half going to the hospital's GI Unit, and the other half going to Seacrest Studios in hope that video games will continue to brighten the days of kids who need it most.
Thank you for considering this fundraiser. Any donation you can make in memory of Brian is greatly appreciated.
