Those of you who have known me for a while, know that I practice yoga.
I started practicing in 2009, and this fall I came to the conclusion that yoga is not just a passing fancy in my life. In honor of turning half a century, I decided to take it a step further and pursue my 200 RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher Certification) with Willa Worsford at Solstice in Lynnfield MA. As part of my RYT certification, I and my 17 fellow yogi classmates will be a part of the team NorthShore Yogis and participating in Yoga Reaches Out at Gillette Stadium. On Sunday, April 28th we are coming together to practice in a day-long yogathon and raise money for Boston Children's’ Hospital. This year donations will benefit Boston Children's Wellness Program and Every Child Fund.
So, if you would like to support me please donate, I would appreciate it. One dollar, five, ten dollars whatever you want to give, I would be grateful.
It is official I am getting old and I like to stand on my head and twist myself into complex shapes. In honor of my becoming a dinosaur, I decided to join a class full of young yogis and learn to teach others how to bend themselves into pretzel shapes. On April 28th we are going to practice Gillette Stadium to raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital. On that day there will be a group of 1000 yogis all various ages coming together to practice and to raise money for sick children. Please donate if you would like, or even join team NorthShore Yogis if you want to be a part of the fun. Either way, I hope you enjoyed my blurb and it made you smile.
Thanks for reading my post.
Love to you all
