Fetal interventions, newborn heart surgeries, single ventricle and biventricular repairs, 3D modeling, intracardiac monitoring devices, electrical mapping, mitochondrial transplantation, comprehensive databases, enhanced recovery therapies, complex valve repairs……These are just a few of the advancements that I’ve seen in my 20 years at Boston Children’s Hospital that have been used in the local community and world wide.
I’ve been a proud member of the administrative team in the Department of Cardiac Surgery since 2005 and have loved helping all of the patients and their families in any way that I can. Participating in this Ride to Cure Kids to raise money for research gives me the opportunity to support them further. Having recently experienced and recovered from my own cardiac emergency has made me want to give back that much more.
Please donate to the research funds so Boston Children’s Hospital can continue to grow and make such tremendous successes in pediatric healthcare.
