This holiday season join Charlie & Gracie in supporting children and families at Boston Children's Hospital! Your donation will help purchase meaningful items for patients and fill urgent needs for patient families and the hospital. With your help, parents and caregivers will be able to focus on what matters most: helping their child heal and enjoying the holidays (as much as they can!)
GRACIE (4) --
Gracie had a stroke when she was born and spent time in the NICU at BCH. As a result of her stroke, Gracie developed seizures which unfortunately were medicine resistant. On December 1, 2020, Gracie had a life changing brain surgery under the care of an amazing neurosurgery team to stop those seizures. Because of that surgery, Gracie is now making great progress with her speech, development and mobility in her right side. She has been seizure free since December 1, 2020 and just recently started walking!
We owe so much to all the doctors, nurses, therapists and staff at BCH that continue to take such great care of Gracie (and me[Julianne] and Jimmy).
CHARLIE (3) --
Charlie was born 4 months early with a host of complications. She spent the first 6 months of her life at BCH. Charlie has undergone over 5 surgeries at BCH including multiple brain surgeries, a heart surgery and eye surgery. Because of the amazing care she received inpatient at BCH, and the outpatient care she continues to receive, Charlie is thriving! She loves to run up and down hallways with her walker and use her talker to tell you she wants to "get cozy" or that she "wants a hug". She loves books, other kids and swimming!
