Two years ago today, Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham & Women’s saved Suzy and her baby girl, Leah Marie Joy with the first and smallest pacemaker in the world. Today we celebrate the BIRTH day of that beautiful little girl, and the 8 short weeks that followed that she lived her life on Earth.
We walk in June to celebrate Leah’s life. Her legacy. In support of her family and to thank the teams of amazing people that helped her parents and family love on her for those eight weeks. It wouldn’t have been possible without the monetary support from everyone who donated to BCH is the past and even now. If you feel it in your heart to donate, please please do. We are doing this to show our thanks to the team at BCH and support anyone else who may have to rely on a hospital and services like Suzy and Shane did. You never know until you have to if you will.
Thank you all. God bless x
***I'm fundraising on behalf of Boston Children's Hospital because:
I BELIEVE no parent should experience the loss of a child.
I BELIEVE no sibling should have to watch their brother or sister suffer.
I BELIEVE that by investing in the best doctors and scientists we can save lives - today!
I BELIEVE that donations received before today helped a child I love and
I BELIEVE that every dollar I raise for Boston Children's Hospital will have a ripple effect and could be THE dollar that changes everything for a future family in crisis.
•Please consider a donation to support my fundraising efforts... because I KNOW that when we band together WE WILL help fund Boston Children's exceptional care and groundbreaking research that can help every child.•
