Our daughter Bella is a unique, bright and beautiful little girl. She has been through countless procedures, medical appointments and inpatient admissions. Despite her chronic pain, her emotional strength is remarkable. She is a true inspiration and an absolute joy to be around. Her sweet, loving and silly personality always shines through even on her toughest days. We are very grateful and blessed that her medical diagnosis has not defined her as a person. She still is able to go to preschool and participate in some of her favorite activities such as dancing and soccer just like any other child her age. Although she has come so far and overcome many obstacles the reality is she will always be affected by this rare condition, unless there is a cure!
Bella has taught us so much in the past four years. There was a while where I was in the mind set of why her, why our daughter, is this my fault and many other emotions and feelings that have come into play since her diagnosis. However watching her daily through taking medications, illnesses, appointments on top of all the "normal" childhood things, I have started to change those negative feelings to positive ones. Our mission is to find a cure, to not only help our daughter but to hopefully prevent any other children from having to go through what our Bella has been through. This year our goal is to raise $10,000 for the VAC center where Bella is followed closely by her outstanding medical team. Please consider helping us achieve this goal, as this is just the beginning for Bella's Bunch! Any amount is greatly appreciated and in the words of Miss Bella "I got this!!"
