I am fundraising on behalf of Boston Children's Hospital because the dedicated work of hospital staff, the loving support of my family and friends, and the generous donations from strangers are why I am alive today—a survivor of complications from an E. coli infection at the tender age of three.
This walk allows me the opportunity to give back and support families at the time they need it the most:
I believe no parent should experience the loss of a child.
I believe no sibling should have to watch their brother or sister suffer.
I believe donations received before today have helped children I love—children who were patients at Boston Children’s Hospital as I once was, and children whose lives have been forever improved by the groundbreaking research done there.
I believe that by investing in the best doctors and scientists we can save lives *today*, and
I believe that every dollar raised for Boston Children's Hospital has a ripple effect—fundraising has the power to change everything for a family in crisis.
If you believe as I do, I urge to you please consider a donation to support my fundraising efforts. On June 9th, my team and I will walk to show the Children’s Hospital staff that we support them, and to show the children and families receiving care at Boston Children’s that they are not forgotten—together we can make a difference.
Every bit helps. It helped me.
