Looking for something to do? Please consider joining Hanna Hazen’s Hero team for a virtual walk to benefit Boston Children Hospital!
Boston Children’s Hospital is one of the most innovative and forward thinking hospitals in the world. Our experience with their outstanding care and compassion started immediately after we walked in the door. A security guard was waiting for us and made terrified parents in a very unfamiliar place feel just a bit less confused and scared. From that moment until the day Hanna was discharged and celebrated with a bubble send off by the entire NICU staff, their compassion and professionalism never wavered.
The funds raised for Hanna’s team will go directly to the Metabolism and Genetic clinic at BCH. This amazing staff has become a second family to us. They saved Hanna’s life and drastically improved her outlook. We are so fortunate that we have an amazing team geographically just 3 hours away, but always just a text or call away.
This gifted and special team handles, in many cases, rare conditions like Hanna’s that you can’t read much about in a textbook. Their ability to think outside of the box and their “we can do better” attitude has led to the potential for new standard treatments plans for children like Hanna that raise the bar and enhance quality of life.
I'm fundraising on behalf of Boston Children's Hospital because:
I BELIEVE no parent should experience the loss of a child.
I BELIEVE no sibling should have to watch their brother or sister suffer.
I BELIEVE that by investing in the best doctors and scientists we can save lives - today!
I BELIEVE that donations received before today helped a child I love and
I BELIEVE that every dollar I raise for Boston Children's Hospital will have a ripple effect and could be THE dollar that changes everything for a future family in crisis.
Please consider a donation to support my fundraising efforts... because I KNOW that when we band together WE WILL help fund Boston Children's exceptional care and groundbreaking research that can help every child.
