I'm participating in the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital on June 9!
As many of you know, I was born 6 weeks early with an omphalocele. I spent 250 days at Boston Children's Hospital before I was ready to come home. During that time I compiled a very complex medical history which included several surgeries, feeding tubes and significant respiratory support. I believe I have done so well because of the care I received during my most critical time at BCH.
Today I am 5 years old, and I'm a pretty cool kid. I am just about ready to finish Pre-K and I really enjoy writing my name and starting to read soon. I love soccer, swimming, and riding my bike/scooter. I have big dreams of learning how to play the drums and becoming a firefighter.
Every dollar I raise funds breakthrough research and vital care and support services for sick kids and their families. Your gift will:
- give children battling the most complex diseases treatments they can’t find anywhere else;
- help children in your town and across the world get a second chance;
- fuel 3,600+ researchers working to find cures;
- fund hospital activities like art and music programs to bring patients joy and hasten healing;
- help patient-families in crisis with urgent needs, including housing, food and clothing;
- bring crucial care to families through not one, but four, outpatient psychiatry clinics;
- and so much more.
Please support my fundraising and help the children and families at Boston Children’s and beyond.
