Moving for Meriden
It’s that time of year again; when we walk for our little girl and the hospital dedicated to saving her life! Our little love, Meriden Chantelle, was born with spinal muscular atrophy type 1 (sma). This is a genetic condition that robs children of their ability to move, eat and breathe. She has been receiving care and life saving treatments at Boston Children’s Hospital since she was 6 months old. She sees the SMA team in the BCH Neurology department. Meriden cannot move the way that others can, her physical abilities are limited. Her cognitive abilities are just that of a typically developing child, though. She is smart and happy, and most importantly so loved. She is a fighter, and we will fight for her as well. Please consider joining our team, or making a donation. It will help families like us, and children like Meriden.
Please consider a donation to support our fundraising efforts... because WE KNOW that when we band together, WE WILL help fund Boston Children's exceptional care and groundbreaking research that can help every child.
Support the hospital by joining our team or making a gift to one of our team members.
