Hello- Thanks for checking out my fundraising page! I'm participating in Ride to Cure Kids on November 12, because I am passionate about helping kids and families at Boston Children's Hospital.
As some of you know, my wife Sarah Austin has worked at Boston Children's for many years. She is currently the Director of the Division of Newborn Medicine. Sarah and her team are very dedicated and work a ton of hours. They write grants, they fight for funding, they work within tight budgets and they make the day-to-day work more manageable for everyone. They also work directly with researchers in the labs and doctors in the NICU to provide critical support for their life changing work.
Work friends, Bose will match your donation. Message me for details you’ll need.
- Close to a cure for sickle cell disease: The first patients in our 2018 gene therapy clinical trial are healthy and symptom-free;
- Vaccinating against opioid overdose: A vaccine to prevent accidental opioid overdoses is moving towards clinical trials;
- Preventing organ transplant rejection: A new therpay that appears to induce complete tolerance of transplanted tissues just received FDA approval;
- and so much more.
