Family and friends,
Hello. Once again, I and my family (my wife, Sue, and our children Meggie, Jack & Grace) are participating in the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital on June 12. Supporting sick children and their families means a lot to me. So, as part of my walk, I’m fundraising to help them.
We are motivated by the word-class care that our daughter, Annie, received at Boston Children's Hospital over the 11 years of her life. When Annie was born in 1993, Boston Children's was one of only 2 hospitals in the world that did the surgery that Annie needed to survive. Today her cardiac condition, HLHS, is treated worldwide because of the skills learned by doctors who train at Boston Children's. Children around the world have better options and better outcomes when born, like Annie, with a congenital heart defect because of the research done at Boston Children's. Children's Hospital gave us the wonderful gift of a good life for Annie for which we will be eternally grateful.
Will you support my fundraising? Click below to make a gift.
So many children need critical care. Many face life-threatening conditions. All of them deserve the best treatment Boston Children’s Hospital can offer. Every dollar of your gift will directly support their patients and families.
I set my fundraising goal at $20,000, and I know I can get there with your help. I hope you'll consider supporting my efforts and making a donation today. Any amount makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your kindness,
George
