Hello!

2022 brought more health issues for Jake! Last year alone he had 60 appointments, 4 hospitalizations, and 3 surgeries. Once again Boston Children's Hospital was there to help us get Jake back on track to being a healthier kid!

The BCH staff not only help to care for kids like Jake, but also support families to help them get through the difficult times they are facing. This is not limited to just during an appointment or a hospitalization, but also the continued care at home to support recovery leading to a more healthy outcome!

Jake is still non-verbal, but we are hopeful one day he will be able to talk or communicate effectively with an AAC device. When he does I am certain he will say thank you to all that have and continue to help him! But for now, those that know Jake, know the smile on his face tells the story and are his words without speaking! He also always reminds me we cannot leave the hospital without getting pizza from the Fresh Food Court in Boston! :)
