I'm participating in the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital on June 9.
As many of you know, my niece Ella had a condition called ALCAPA. ALCAPA is a congenital heart defect in which the left coronary artery arises abnormally from the pulmonary artery. A rare condition, only about 1 in 300,000 babies are born with ALCAPA. Left untreated, the mortality rate in the first year of life is 90%. Ella is the 10% who fought and survived!
Ella has been fighting her whole life and continues the fight every day. We are beyond thankful everyday for Ella’s nurses, doctors, and her surgeon, Dr. Quinonez at Boston Children's Hospitals.
Every dollar I raise funds breakthrough research and vital care and support services for sick kids and their families. Your gift will:
Please support my fundraising and help the children and families at Boston Children’s and beyond.
