Join me in saving kids’ lives

In November 2023, at 19 months old, Ellie was diagnosed with ALCAPA, a rare and life threatening congenital heart defect. Ellie was immediately admitted to Boston Children's Hospital, where they confirmed the diagnosis and scheduled open heart surgery two days later. Ellie spent 8 days recovering in the CICU, followed by a few days in the ACCU.

Boston Children's Hospital doctors and nurses saved Ellie's life and while Ellie was lucky to be covered by good health insurance, there are so many children who cannot access this type of care. We are walking and fundraising to hopefully support children and families who find themselves in a similar situation to Ellie. Every child deserves a chance at life, no matter where they live or how much money their families have.

Ellie is doing amazing and just celebrated her 2nd birthday party surrounded by all her loved ones. She's one of my favorite little friends and to see her thriving makes me very appreciative of all the care she got from Children's.

I'm participating in the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital on June 9.

Every dollar I raise funds breakthrough research and vital care and support services for sick kids and their families. Your gift will:
