Our family is participating in the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital on June 9.
Recently our daughter spent time at Boston Children's under the care of numerous staff in the cardiology department. During our stay, we were able to see just how much goes into the healing and recovery process, as well as be exposed to other families whose stays were longer and resources less fortunate than our own. We are so grateful to the surgeon, nurses, child life specialists, nutritionists, physical therapists and more who have all been a part of Olivia's recovery to date. We're looking to participate both as a celebration of the step in recovery she's currently in, as well as pay it forward to help support other families going through difficult medical challenges with their children.
Every dollar we raise will help patients and families that are experiencing a financial hardship when seeking out cardiac care—many of whom travel from all over the world for answers they can’t find anywhere else. We appreciate any support people feel generous enough to provide, and all the ways friends, family and more have supported our family through this process. We can't tell you how much it helped ease our time there. Little Miss (and her new boundless energy) thank you all!
