I've joined the Miles for Miracles team 10 years ago as a bucket list item to complete the Boston Marathon! Never finished in 2013 due to a horrific day at the finish line and said I would be back with the same M4M team and soon I was on #TeamJace! Now fast forward to present day; the journey running all over the world over these last 10 years raising money for Boston Childrens Hospital and Jace Perkins, my patient partner, is complete! Just finished my Abbott World Marathon Majors in Tokyo this past March for #TeamJace! Much more to come on Jace Perkins in the coming weeks/months! So much to share about his own journey which is truly inspirational and how Boston Childrens Hospital and the nurses and doctors saved his life! There is still some work to do! Cannot say enough great things about the friends I met each year on the M4M team training in either bitter cold or brutal heat are now my extended family because of the shared bond of the team, our patient partners and the what Boston Children's Hospital does for kids:
