On Monday, April 15th I will be running the Boston Marathon as a member of Boston Children’s Hospital’s team Miles for Miracles.
This is my second time taking on the 26.2 mile challenge: in 2022, I ran the NYC marathon also in support of Boston Children’s. While I initially thought I would check one marathon off my bucket list, I am back for another - this time on home turf. Above all, my motivation to run Boston is in no small part due to the chance to once again support the fantastic work of Boston Children’s Hospital.
Funds raised go directly to the hospital’s areas of greatest need: exceptional patient care, lifesaving research, community health programs, and the hospital’s Every Child Fund, which provides family support and vital services not covered by insurance.
Boston Children's Hospital is a tremendous presence not only in our local community but also for children around the world. Each of us on team Miles for Miracles has this extra incentive to push across the finish line in April: giving families hope and helping children receive world-class care at Boston Children’s.
Please support my fundraising and help the incredible kids and families at Boston Children's Hospital!
