IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are in the quiet phase of the fundraising, and this is intended to be a surprise to be announced at a farewell event 7:30-9:30am on Friday April 14th in the Patient Entertainment Center. 

Susan Shaw, MSN, MS, RN, NEA-BC has served for the past 42 years as an exceptional nursing and hospital leader. Her devotion to colleagues, patients and families and to the advancement of nursing practice and leadership are all part of her far reaching impact.

In recognition of her contributions, we have established the Susan Shaw nursing scholarship award which will provide funding annually to support the education of a front line nurse/nurse leader. With your kind gift, a new generation of nurses will continue Susan’s legacy at Boston Children’s Hospital.

We hope to reach our fundraising goal by Memorial Day and prior to Susan's transition to retirement this summer. The first scholarship award is planned for Nurse's Recognition Week to take place in May, 2018.
