Boston Children’s Hospital is the place that saved our daughter Sarah as a newborn, performing her four cardiac surgeries before she was 2 years old.  It is also the place she returned to for cardiac care when she headed to college, becoming a patient of the Adult Congenital Clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital.

We are pleased to share that all gifts made in memory of Sarah will be designated to the Sarah Marie Liamos Fund for Adult Congenital Heart Disease Research at Boston Children’s Hospital.

This fund will allow researchers to identify early warning signs in adults with congenital heart disease in order to optimize their care and well-being. This invaluable work, done under the direction of Dr. Anne Marie Valente, will lead to improved quality of life for this unique set of adults who have grown up with congenital heart disease. 

Thank you for helping us keep Sarah’s spirit alive through this important work.    We are excited to partner with Boston Children’s Hospital in loving memory of Sarah.
