Friends and family are coming together to honor Suzanne Giroux, who has provided 35 years of outstanding service, advocacy, education and an unwavering commitment at Boston Children's Hospital to reducing environmental exposures for children and families throughout New England. 

Funds raised will support families of children who are being seen in the Pediatric Environmental Health Center (PEHC) who need assistance in paying for parking at BCH while they are attending the PEHC. For families down on their luck, funds raised could provide a small amount of financial support in the form of gift cards to buy food, clothing, necessary medicine, or other necessities for families seen and cared for by the PEHC. These funds could even buy enriching books and toys for use by patients while they are being seen in the clinic. Funds would also support family education outreach activities of the Region 1 PEHSU, including the purchase of public education supplies and the payment of the small registration fees charged at some health fairs, health workshops, or other community-centered public health gatherings.
