One of the most inspiring leaders in our field, Dick Grand, MD.,  will officially retired June, 30, 2017.  Dick’s career spans decades of patient care, research, and training across several institutions.  His papers and honors—too numerous to enumerate—reflect his deep commitment to finding better treatments and cures for IBD. And he is a remarkably talented teacher who was passionate about training the IBD specialists of the future. Perhaps you are one of the trainees mentored by this tireless educator?

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition will honor Dick officially on September 27, 2017 with a symposium and dinner. I am thrilled to announce that an endowed annual lecture fund has been established in his honor. Many of you have asked how you might support this effort.
