Honoring Skyler and BCH

We are hosting a fundraiser in honor of Skyler's 1st birthday because without Boston Children's Hospital (especially the NICU and Heart Center), Skyler would not be here with us today. Not only did the nurses and doctors provide exceptional, life-saving care for Skyler, they also took care of us. We had a place to stay during Skyler's 81 days in the hospital; we were also provided with vouchers for food and compassionate emotional support. The hospital took some of the stress out of an otherwise scary experience and provided us with the ability to be there with Skyler every day. We want to give back because Skyler will be a life-long patient of Boston Children's - there are more surgeries in her future - and because other children and families should have the opportunity to receive the same care in their hour(s) of need. We want to help Boston Children’s continue its amazing work for kids:
The hospital's patient care programs are remarkably sensitive to what sick and injured children and their families really need.
Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children's lives.
Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care—more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
Community programs make a point of reaching out to help low-income and at-risk kids.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's truly understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
Please consider supporting Skyler, our fundraiser, the amazing families we've met who have had similar experiences, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Thank you! Stacey, Ed, and Skyler Supple (a.k.a. Team "Reach for the SKYler")
