Hi! I'm Justin and I am a 22 year old lifelong patient of Boston Children's Hospital. I am the recipient of over 15 surgeries and procedures that included 3 life saving open heart surgeries performed there. I was born with congenital heart disease and 22q deletion syndrome. My syndrome has complicated my health, my learning and chronic ongoing complex medical issues. Last year I was very ill and my outlook to live was very grave. My surgeon saved my life again and I am given another chance to love life.
I have been wanting to give back to the Cardiac Program and thought I would host a fundraiser asking everyone to donate JUST FIVE DOLLARs and ask their family & friends do donate JUST FIVE DOLLARs imgaine in the impact it would have?
In choosing to donate to my fundraiser in support of Boston Children’s Hospital, your support will allow the hospital to remain a world leader in pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery. Each year, our cardiologists care for more than 25,000 children and adults with congenital and acquired heart defects, including the rarest and most complex cases in the world. From research to surgery, patient care to nurses’ education, your gift fuels important work and changes lives, offering health and hope.
Thank you for helping me make dollars make a difference!!
