Our little Elena was born on November 29, 2017. After 36 days at Boston Children’s she had to be taken off her Ecmo machine as her lungs were too badly damaged from Pertussis. We had an amazing team, who took care of her with all the kindness, love and support we could ever ask for. They made every effort to help and save her and we will eternally be grateful for the time they allowed us to have with our precious angel. We were very fortunate that our families came together and allowed us to spend the entire time there with her. They took care of our home, our pets and all other distractions so we could focus all our attention on Elena. A lot of families are not fortunate enough to have this and we would like to be able to give this opportunity to other families. We have set this fundraiser to be designated to the families of 7South ICU that are currently struggling to stay with their kids. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
