Eliot grew up in Revere, graduating from Revere High School in 1984. Immediately following, he began his life-long career as a dedicated driver for The Boston Globe. During his work at the Globe, Eliot was a loyal member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters of Local #259 and Local #25. He was always proud of his Globe brothers and will live on in their memories together at the loading docks.

To his family, Eliot was a devoted and hard-working father and husband, always ensuring they had what they needed. When his kids were younger, he loved taking them boating, “Lounging Around” on the open water with “Moby Nick,” playing cribbage with his dad, and spending countless hours definitely not resting his eyes to: Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, American Pickers, and Seinfeld. When he wasn’t working or hashing out the most specific details to help his children (he was a human GPS with turn-by-turn directions that would take literally 30 minutes to explain), Eliot also enjoyed watching Patriots’ games, blasting some classic rock, and cooking infinite amounts of his famous matzo ball soup. 

He will also be remembered for his generosity in welcoming others into his home in their time of need. A strong-willed, honest, and direct man, Eliot loved his children and granddaughter fiercely, with a full heart and gleaming smile. He made sure all those traits were instilled in his family, and they are thankful for that. All those who knew him loved him, through thick and thin, and his legacy will live on in their memories and actions.
